Leadership Purpose for Women Leaders

Date: Wednesday July 08, 2020 Time: 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm (BST) Price: Free

How to get clear on what difference your leadership can make

So how do we craft our leadership identity and careers?

Developing our careers is a craft, not a science. There’s really no grand design to our careers, no straight lines for our lives. So, our compass is really important.

And we become leaders by getting to grips with our leadership identity. And there are some specific challenges for women.

A significant body of research has demonstrated that subtle gender bias can disrupt the learning cycle of becoming a leader for women.

Leadership identity ‘noise’ – like thinking: ‘Who? Me?’ I can’t see it. The second shift at home and at work. And we can get easily stuck in the safety and power of our technical competence, amongst others.

So join me at a 90 minute session on Leadership Purpose and our Career Compass to explore how to bring your best leadership self to your purpose.

This is an opportunity for great learning and great networking – I hope to see you there! Contact me for more info at penny@pennydevalk.com
